David T Truong
Growing up, while some kids spent time at the library, I watched television and couldn't get enough of playing sports. I didn't acquire the love for reading or writing until recently.
But thanks to law school, I had to read extensively and learn how to write. That all came back to help with writing this memoir.
As an author, my encouragement to everyone is simple: write your family story. Talk to your relatives, capture their memories, and put them on paper. And if you want to write a memoir, my advice is summed up in the old saying: if I can do it, you can do it. For more details on how I did this, see my blog post on this website, “How I Managed to Write a Memoir.”
I am a Christian, husband, father, and a helper to my friends and family.
